Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) is used to control dust, fumes, vapours and other airborne contaminants at source before they can be breathed in. Staff should understand what the system is for, how to check that it is running properly, and why hoods, ducts and filters must not be moved, blocked or switched off. Simple visual checks, reporting damage or poor airflow, and using the equipment as designed all help ensure the LEV continues to protect health and keeps the workplace compliant with COSHH requirements.

LEV Awareness training is a 1-Day CPD certification of attendance course
