Authorising Engineer (AE) Services
M&M Compliance Training provides Appointed Authorising Engineer (AE) services across ventilation, pressure systems, and low voltage electrical safety for healthcare and critical infrastructure clients in England.
Our AE support includes independent audits, competency reviews, commissioning oversight, and formal appointment guidance in line with HTM/SHTM, PSSR 2000, and HTM 06-02.
Energy Setback Assessments
We help NHS Trusts and FM providers safely reduce ventilation energy use in line with current guidance. Our Authorising Engineers assess clinical risk and occupancy profiles to identify where fan speeds or air change rates can be reduced without compromising safety. Each report outlines potential energy, cost, and CO₂ savings — supporting Net Zero goals and ERIC reporting.
Pressure System Site Surveys (PSSR 2000)
Our Authorising Engineers carry out site surveys of pressure systems — including steam boilers, autoclaves and associated plant — to support compliance with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) 2000.
Surveys include system condition reviews, Written Scheme of Examination (WSE) guidance, and identification of safety-critical issues ahead of statutory inspections
Pressure Systems Governance & Documentation Support (PSSR 2000)

Ventilation System Compliance Assessments
We specialise in Authorising Engineer (AE)-led Air Handling Unit (AHU) Compliance Inspections. We systematically evaluate your AHU’s compliance against current Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) standards, particularly HTM 03-01, providing detailed risk assessments, compliance scores, and a clearly defined action plan.
